Road2FASD had an incredibly exciting and fulfilling week at the annual Voice in a Million concert at the OVO Arena Wembley! With Rossi managing social media, Lici performing, Jan being part of the chaperone team, and Jo multitasking as both co-founder and creative director, it was a dynamic and rewarding experience for everyone involved. The 15th-anniversary concert was a milestone event, and having Road2FASD members play such diverse roles highlights their dedication and contribution to the cause

It’s truly heartwarming to hear about Amanda Day’s journey all the way from Vancouver, Canada, to Wembley to share her self-penned song “Escape” as an adopted person with FASD. Her courage and talent undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the audience. The fact that Jan Rossi and Lici had the opportunity to connect with Amanda is a testament to the power of music and shared experiences.

The connection between Amanda’s family and those of Jan Rossi and Lici, facilitated by Jo Garofalo’s meeting with Rosanna at an FASD conference in Florida back in May 2023, underscores the importance of such gatherings and the community they create.
